is Space oblong? (19/9/24)

aside

so we have just had our first Friday 13th of the year with the next one being in December on, not surprisingly, Friday the 13th of December… magic!… then that will be the lot until June next year when it will fall on, surprise, surprise, Friday the 13th of June!… make the most of it though because it will be the only one in 2025… you see, there can only ever be no more than three Friday the 13th ‘s a year, with some years having two and others only the one, as in 2025, so, the next time there will be a whole three in the year will be 2026, so, does this make that year more unlucky than others, or maybe less unlucky as it can be so bold as to host three?… time will tell, or not, time can be fickle like that, not one for showing its hand… the longest period between two Friday the 13th ‘s is no more than 14 months, while the shortest period can be a mere one month, so, to nail this down, on average they occur once every 212 days, on average that is, so it is a moveable feast, with an average frequency of about 1.7 a year, which is meaningless of course, being you can’t actually have 0.7th of a day…… so, what this all boils down to is, I have nothing better to do than to piss around with pointless statistics which in themselves don’t amount to much more than the time its taken you to read this……

Billionaires in Space!… surely a new reality TV programme in the offing… “Back at home we all have a lot to work to do, but from here, Earth sure looks like a perfect world", so said the billionaire from 460 miles above the planet, which only goes to show how many billionaires are at least that far removed from reality, in that rather than spending all that money on personal jollys into Space how about spending it down here instead on some of “… all that work to do”, as in, much of the mess that’s been made, in part, as a result of the monopolisation of money and power in the hands of the few, i.e. billionaires
